One Call Road Assist

Motorists are now assured of having all their roadside emergency needs attended to promptly and efficiently with One Call Road Assist (OCRA), South Africa’s latest and most advanced emergency call centre service. OCRA’s cover gives you peace of mind while travelling anywhere in the Republic of South Africa. The following services are all covered by your OCRA policy:

• In the event of a breakdown, we will contact a breakdown service to tow your vehicle to a workshop or after hours to a secure overnight facility. Your OCRA fee covers R500 (five hundred rand) for this service.
• In the event of a breakdown at night, we will contact a security service or the SAPS for your personal protection. This service will also be provided during the daytime should your personal safety be at risk. * This service is free of charge.
• In the event of a breakdown which cannot be solved on the day of occurrence, the service covers overnight accommodation for a family not more than 4 (four) people. The maximum cost covered is R1 000 (one thousand rand) at an approved hotel or guest house
• If your keys are accidentally locked in your vehicle, we will request the services of a locksmith, free of charge. (See terms and conditions).
• Emergency fuel delivery – 10 (ten) litres of fuel will be delivered to the policy holder to enable him/her to reach the nearest service station. Cost of fuel is for the policyholder’s account.
• In the event of battery failure, arrangements will be made to jump start the vehicle, free of charge. This service does not include the replacement of the battery. In the event of a flat tyre, serviceable tyres will be changed. If a serviceable tyre is not available, towing will be provided under the tow-in benefit.
• In the event of an accident, we will contact the Traffic Authorities and Emergency Services, if required. After initial call alert these services will be monitored to ensure prompt attendance of the emergency. Cost of emergency services for policyholder’s account.
• Car Rental – should the need arise in the event of a breakdown OCRA will provide a rental vehicle to the policyholder. Cost of rental vehicle for policyholder’s account.
